Igal Nevo, MD, is an assistant research professor and an anesthesiologist. His interest focuses on patient safety and human error in medicine, particularly in elderly patients. He recently developed a new method for designing patient safe hospitals. Dr. Nevo is the author of 5 patents about real time data analysis and decision support. Other past activities include medical director of medical informatics, director of the laboratory of medical informatics, and consulting vendors of medical devices. Dr. Nevo chaired international and national scientific conferences and was on the editorial board of the International Journal of Clinical Monitoring and Computing. He is the recipient of several scientific and business management awards.
